Mary-Ruth, Konzay, Tristan and I wrote this poem about what we would see and feel as a soldier. Pretending to be a soldier was scary. You must be wondering why it would be scary, right? Being in war knowing that you're fighting for your country and your family is freaky. Bullets everywhere, exploding bombs and cannons!
I am a Year 8 student at Ruapotaka School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 8 and my teacher is Mr Reid.

Pokemon Gotta Catch Them All!
Pokemon you gotta catch them all.
Out of breath.
Keeping calm.
Enemies become friends.
More and more friends everyday.
On going battles.
No one left behind.

Day 3... Why Worry?
Why Worry
All I need is a little faith, my eighth wish.
Swish goes my club, I'm frightened need a clapping crowd.
Proud to be me, three more hits.
It's terrifying, verifying the rules.
Why worry I'm the best in my opinion!
